EFCE Seeks Process Safety Award Nominees

Award recognizes significant contribution to safety literature

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), Brussels, is looking for candidates for its third triennial Excellence Award in Process Safety. The honor will recognize someone for an outstanding PhD thesis or paper related to research on or practice of process safety that was published in the three years prior to Oct. 31, 2015.

The award, which is open to students at a PhD-granting university in a member country of the EFCE, includes a certificate, a €1,500 cash prize and a travel grant to attend the 15th Loss Prevention Symposium, which will be held June 5–8, 2016, in Freiburg, Germany.
