ABB Analytical Systems Integration Facility Serves Gulf Region

New 40,000-square-foot facility opens in Houston, Texas.

ABB opens new Gulf Coast facility.

ABB opens a new, 40,000-square-foot Analytical Systems Integration Facility to build fully integrated analyzer shelters for downstream oil and gas industry customers. The facility manufactures integrated shelters containing analyzer systems designed to help oil refineries and petrochemical plants maximize product quality. The new facility is one of ABB’s recent investments in the U.S. Gulf Region.

The facility provides complete analytical solutions, from initial engineering through system manufacturing, testing, field startup and support, according to ABB. The team at this facility will have access to ABB’s analyzer products including gas chromatographs, continuous liquid and gas analyzers and Reid vapor pressure, TDL and FTIR analyzers for integration into larger systems.

Earlier this year ABB held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new 75,000-square-foot level measurement factory in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and opened a new services office near Lake Charles. ABB also opened its new Automation and Power Center in Houston. The Analytical Systems Integration facility is part of ABB's measurement and analytics business unit.
