Hessa Mohammed Al Nesf, a corporate planning analyst at Qatargas, is the first Qatari national to be awarded the Incorporated Engineer (IEng) by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).

IEng is an internationally recognized qualification established by the Engineering Council in the UK. It recognizes competence, commitment, skills and experience.

Hessa received her certificate from Neil Atkinson, IChemE’s director of qualifications and international development at Qatargas' head office in Doha.

“Hessa is also a very impressive role model,” Atkinson said. “To become the first national and the first female in Qatar to achieve the qualification from the Institution of Chemical Engineers reflects her talent and commitment, and the support from Qatargas.”
