IHS Chemical Petrochemical Conference Set for March 19-21 in Houston

Leaders from ExxonMobil Chemical, AFPM, Tasnee, TOTAL and others to discuss regional and global outlooks for petrochemical industry developments.

IHS Chemical will host the 2013 IHS World Petrochemical Conference and Workshops March 19 through March 21 at the Hilton Americas Hotel in Houston. The conference will focus on the emerging landscape in the global petrochemical industry and the challenges and opportunities that this new path forward, much of which stems from the resurgence in North American oil and gas production, presents for a sustainable future.

Stephen Pryor, president of the Exxon Mobil Chemical Co., will deliver a keynote presentation on March 20 about sustainability strategies. He will be followed on the podium by Tasnee CEO Moayyed Al Qurtas who will address the next steps in developing the chemical industry in the Middle East and Graeme Burnett, senior vice president, refining and chemicals, Americas, at TOTAL SA, who will discuss  European market trends.

Charlie Drevna, president, American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers, will deliver the March 21, keynote on how regulations impact the chemical industry. The 2013 IHS World Petrochemical Conference also will feature executive leaders from chemical companies who will join IHS experts to deliver detailed regional and global outlooks for a rapidly changing industry.
