3E Creates Supply Chain Practice To Provide Product Compliance Solutions

Oct. 3, 2012
New practice assists customers with meeting product-disclosure requirements.

3E Co. has established a new supply chain product-compliance practice to help companies navigate the complexities associated with achieving product disclosure compliance. The practice will also assist companies with reducing supply-chain risk, 3E announced Sept. 24.

The new division will offer solutions to support corporate product-compliance initiatives that facilitate transparency and regulatory data management for customers and stakeholders.

Supply chain product compliance has become increasingly complex to manage as more suppliers and customers require disclosure of detailed information about their products’ chemical composition and origin. 3E’s new supply chain practice leverages the data and functionality of the 3E Online-MSDS safety data sheet management platform as well as the Ariel WebInsight online regulatory compliance tool.

3E’s SDS obtainment, classification, SAP EHS Management, SDS authoring and global regulatory support services also are included in this new offering. The business will draw upon the risk-management resources and capabilities of Verisk Analytics, 3E’s corporate parent, to deliver fully optimized and integrated solutions.
