The goal of the Carbon Disclosure Project’s (CDP) Global Forum is to identify practical measures for creating sustainable growth on a global basis. The conference will take place Sept. 14 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and will be available on the CDP website.
The forum is an international gathering of business and political leaders who will gather in a workshop-style discussion to establish best practices for creating sustainable, profitable business growth around the world.
The conference will be broadcast live in telepresence suites in five continents.
Agenda points barriers to low-carbon transformation in business, low=carbon opportunities, managing finite material resources and the future of business leadership.
The Global Forum coincides with the publication of the 2011 edition of the annual CDP Global 500 report and will offer an overview of progress of the world’s 500 biggest companies toward a low-carbon economy.
