Kelly Engineering Resources has awarded its Future Engineers Scholarship to Mary Louise Fowler, a biomedical engineering student at Boston University College of Engineering. Fowler is from Bexley, Ohio, which is suburb of Columbus.

Fowler earned a $5,000 scholarship based on her commitment toward a career in engineering, outstanding academic performance and an essay she wrote that addressed a specific engineering challenge.

In its seventh year, the Future Engineers Scholarship Program was created to encourage student interest in a career in engineering and to foster excellence in the engineering field. Chemical Processing's Editor in Chief, Mark Rosenzweig, was one of the judges.
