Fike, a provider of industrial and explosion protection safety solutions, is sponsoring two Explosion Protection Seminars: Concord, Calif., Sept. 29, 2009; and Pomona, Calif., Oct. 1, 2009.

The primary focus of these educational seminars is the protection of facilities against potential combustible dust explosion hazards, and explosion mitigation techniques use to help provide a safe workplace. In addition, these unique classes will update individuals on code changes and highlight current pending federal legislation within the industry.

“The entire explosion protection market has experienced significant changes since the explosions at the Imperial Sugar factory made headlines last year,” said Bob Korn, director U.S. Explosion Protection Products. “In these seminars, we are taking people through recent NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and OSHA regulatory changes, as well as pending federal legislation. Plus we explain the features, benefits and differences in the various types of explosion protection solutions available.”

For more information or to register for one of the seminars, visit: http://www.fike.com/EpSept.html. Space is limited.
