IIG issues disaster information about industrial insulation

Oct 25, 2005

The Industrial Insulation Group (IIG), has issued a technical bulletin to help maintenance managers and engineers in refineries and petrochemical plants shut down or damaged by recent hurricanes and floods. The bulletin offers guidelines for inspecting pipe and equipment insulation to determine if it can be used or repaired or must be replaced. Adequate insulation is critical to controlling process temperature and protecting workers as well as saving energy. The bulletin is available immediately at www.iig-llc.com. Information about IIG's full range of high temperature industrial insulation products and accessories is also available at the Web site.
