05/17/2005
Baldor Electric Company, Fort Smith, Arkansas based manufacturer of energy saving industrial electric motors, drives and generators, offers customers Version 10.0 of its interactive Electronic Catalog on CD-ROM, a vastly improved version. Over 650,000 copies of previous versions are in circulation.Users are able to instantly access a wide variety of technical information on over 6,500 different Baldor motors, drives and generators. Product information includes nameplate data, dimension drawings, performance and test data, replacement parts and accessories. A unique interactive search function allows users to easily find Baldor products with only limited information. The Baldor Electronic Catalog includes our BE$T Energy $avings Tool, which calculates an existing motor’s annual electricity usage based on its nominal efficiency-verses the annual electricity usage of Baldor Standard-E® or Super-E® premium efficiency motors. It is also able to calculate savings on a group of motors when they are changed to Baldor motors. In addition, BE$T can calculate energy savings when a variable speed drive is used. CD-ROM 10.0 also includes listings of Baldor’s sales offices and authorized service centers and a direct link to Baldor’s web site.
Users may also receive real time updates over the Internet. Anytime we have placed an update on the Web and the user has an Internet connection, installation of the update is offered immediately.
Baldor’s CD-ROM Version 10.0 is available to customers and prospects at no charge. For more information on these or other products, call toll free at 800-828-4920 or visit Baldor's web site at www.baldor.com.
