I am a management of change coordinator. Many companies assign asset numbers to each instrument, control valves, regulators, etc. I think it is a good idea to be able to track the changes and attach data sheets to each component. What are your thoughts about this?

Re: What is the best way to track changes to instruments?
25 April 2012 at 1:29pmThere are various ways to track changes and attach data sheets to each component. Some of this information can be stored in your Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Some of this information might be stored in software that is currently available in the marketplace or might be available at your facility.
