I am overhauling a centrifugal pump (type: 8x10x13B DB34D -3stg that is coupled by gearbox to turbine typhoon type sgt100-2s). Before overhauling, we have vibration in DE and NDE at pump. After overhauling we have the same vibration as before.
Have an insight or suggestion?

27 February 2012 at 1:29pmIf the pump was overhauled properly and accurately, then it would seem that the vibration is caused by an operational condition and not by an internal problem.
I'm afraid that is about all the help I can be on this.
