We have received a special proposal and type of pump from a particular vendor for the following conditions. This type of pump is very heavy and we prefer to use simple, horizontal pumps instead. Please advise alternative solutions, if possible.

18 October 2006 at 1:29pmI would ask the particular vendor why they quoted that particular pump model. Also what did other vendors quote him? Was it a similar model? Initially, I started to figure out what pump I would offer this individual, then I realized that I didnt know enough service details. What is being pumped is not identified.
