What is the limitation to specify the minimum flow of the centrifugal pumps? is it vibration increase or temprature increase or etc?

3 August 2006 at 1:29pmThe minimum flow for any pump should be identified by the pump manufacturer.The only terminology that makes sense is that which has been used by API for many years, and is The Minimum Flow for Stable Operation.
This is based on the onset of suction recirculation which occurs at the lower flows.
