Rich Palluzi is senior engineering associate at ExxonMobil Research & Engineering, Annadale, N.J. He has almost 30 years of experience at the company, covering all aspects of pilot plants, from design and safety to startup and operational support. He now heads its Pilot Plant and Laboratory Engineering Section. Author of Pilot Plant Design, Construction and Operation and Pilot Plant and Laboratory Safety, he also gives courses on pilot plant theory, design, construction and operation.
