We are mixing a solid slurry and solvent and need 2 micron size. What is the motor hp when the solid slurry's viscosity is 5,000cp? Its specific gravity is 1.5 and its total material weight is 5000 kg (70% solid slurry and 30% solvent.)

Re: How do we mix a solid slurry and solvent for best results?
21 July 2011 at 1:29pmA 5,000 kg batch of 1.5 sp. gr. slurry will have a volume of 3,333 cu. meters. For good mixing intensity, a 4.4 meter diameter 4-blade, pitched blade impeller operating at 25 rpm will require a 250 hp (185 KW) motor.
