In pigment precipitate filtration, the slurry is 10% solids (solids per batch is 700 kgs) having primary particles of 1 micron. Recess filter press is used, but a lot of pigment yield is lost in filtrate -- even after re-circulation of the filtrate many times. Time for filtration is high due to re-circulation. What other type of filtration can we use?
