We want to filter the calcium from calcium alkyl benzene sulfonate. Currently we use a plate filter by using filter aid but the results are not satisfactory and take too much time. Is there a quick method to remove/filter the calcium particles and get the clear solution? What type of filter cloth should use?

6 April 2010 at 1:29pmYou don't specify rate or particle size, but I would suggest an Automatic Pressure Filter( APF) with disposable media. They are fully automatic and offer a wide variety of disposable filter media to fit the application to achieve god filtrate clarity with or without filter aids.
