How would I best calculate the heat transferred via sunlight and ambient temperatures through a jacketed vessel containing a liquid?

22 February 2012 at 1:29pmThe external heat transfer coefficient will be a function of weather conditions (e.g., wind speed, solar radiation, precipitation). Refer to Perry’s Chemical Engineers’ Handbook (Chapter 5) for appropriate correlations to use.
