24 October 2007 at 1:29pmThe design of an after cooler for compressor discharge will follow the same heuristics as any other exchanger. Please refer to a texts such as Perry’s Chemical Engineers Handbook, Process Heat Transfer by Hewitt, Shires & Bott, and the Heat Exchanger Design Handbook.
