Re: What are the best MOC selection guides?11 April 2013 at 12:37pm Last edited: 11 April 2013 at 3:07pmIf you are asking for general references for compatibility data that one could use for materials of construction (MOC) selection then I would suggest these: 1) Corrosion Resistance Tables by Schweitzer, 5th Edition (published by Marcel Dekker). Currently a four-volume set. 2) The Compass Chemical Resistance Guides by Pruett. Three volumes published by Compass Publications - Chemical Resistance Guide for Metals and Alloys II, Chemical Resistance Guide for Plastics, and Chemical Resistance Guide for Elastomers III. If you are asking about general information on the selection of materials of construction and corrosion, I would suggest the book “Corrosion: Understanding the Basics” published by ASM International.
