Our supplier of CIP 100 (an alkaline cleaner) is removing the testing for Pb (lead). The decision was based on a historical review of test data, our approved raw material suppliers description of their respective processes and control and additional ongoing confirmatory testing for heavy metals performed periodically using inductively coupled plasma (ICP). Is this enough justification to accept the change?
