Re: Is glass-lined stainless steel possible?
27 February 2012 at 1:29pmSome manufacturers of glass-lined reactors do offer glass-lined stainless steel. Glass-lined stainless steel is used for cryogenic temperatures or when external cleanliness/cleanability is an issue. You we need to contact a manufacturer of glass-lined equipment to see if your existing stainless reactor could be glass-lined as there are special design requirements for vessels that will be coated.
