I need to know how to apply a rubber lining to a perforated carbon steel plate that's located inside and in the bottom of a pressure vessel (150 psi max, with NaOH). I need a description to understand the process of rubber lining in this particular location (perforated carbon steel plate) and have a warranty that this lining is going to last for a "X" amount of time.
Have an insight or suggestion?

Re: How do you apply a rubber lining to a perforated carbon steel plate?
29 August 2011 at 1:29pmFor information on rubber linings and how they are applied, it would be best to consult a business that specializes in this sort of thing. Because of the ability to change the formulation of an elastomer to meet the specific requirements of a particular situation, it is best to permit a competent manufacturer to select the elastomer and install it or give specific instructions on how to do so.
