Mixing Time and Multipropeller

Q: I would like to know if there is a correlation to estimate mixing time in a vessel with a multipropeller?

A: The blend time correlation for turbulent blending (impeller Reynolds number greater than 20,000) with a  hydrofoil impeller should be appropriate for a propeller.  The combination expression can be used for multiple propellers.  A propeller is considered to be axial flow.  For transitional blending (higher viscosities) a  correction factor (not supplied) must be applied.
