Control conveyor velocity

Q: I want to control the conveying velocity of dust pneumatic conveying. What kind of instrument should be installed on the conveying line? My focus is to reduce air consumption, so I need to control compressed air to have an effect on velocity conveying.

A: Pressure sensing is the most simple and probably the most reliable method of indirectly measuring air flow rate. It has the added advantage of sensing blockage in the line. Sorry that I can't offer more.
