Marathon Petroleum Co. LLC is a supplier of gasoline and distillates to resellers and consumers in the Midwest, upper Great Plains, Gulf Coast and southeastern regions of the United States. The wholesale distribution of petroleum products to private brand marketers and to large commercial and industrial consumers and sales in the spot market accounted for 69% of the company’s refined products sales volumes in 2007. Marathon sold 49% of its gasoline volumes and 89% of its distillates volumes on a wholesale or spot market basis. As of Dec. 31, 2007, Marathon supplied petroleum products to about 4,400 Marathon branded retail outlets. Sales to Marathon-brand jobbers and dealers accounted for 16% of the company’s refined product sales volumes in 2007.

  Clarence P. Cazalot Jr.

  President and CEO

  Clarence P. Cazalot Jr. joined Marathon in March 2000. Prior to his appointment as Immediately prior to this, Cazalot served as vice president of Texaco Inc. and president of Texaco’s worldwide production operations. He was appointed president of Texaco’s worldwide production operations in 1999. From January 1998, Cazalot served as president of international production and chairman of London-based Texaco Ltd. He was named president of Texaco International Marketing and Manufacturing in January 1997.

  Janet F. Clark

  Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

  Janet F. Clark joined Marathon in January 2004 with a strong background in financial management and energy industry experience. Clark previously served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Nuevo Energy. While at that company, she was responsible for all finance, accounting, investor relations and information technology functions within the company, serving as the direct point of contact with investment and commercial banks, Wall Street analysts and rating agencies. She joined Nuevo Energy in 2001.

  Thomas K. Sneed

  Chief Information Officer

  Thomas K. Sneed joined Marathon in 1981 and began his current assignment in 2003. In 2002, Sneed was appointed manager of Information Technology Services for Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC (MAP). Two years earlier, he transferred to Speedway SuperAmerica LLC (SSA) in Enon, Ohio, as vice president of Information Technology Services. In 1998, Sneed was named manager of Computer Services for SSA. In 1997, Sneed served as manager of Information Technology Marketing & Accounting Applications for MAP. Earlier that year, he was named manager of Information Technology Services: Downstream Computing.
