FMC Corp. is a diversified chemical company with leading positions in agricultural, industrial and consumer markets.

FMC was formed in 1883 when founder John Bean created an innovative insecticide spray pump to combat scale, an infestation that was ravaging California's orchards and endangering the livelihood of growers. Today, FMC uses an array of advanced technologies in research and development to improve the delivery of medications; enhance foods and beverages; power batteries; protect crop yields, structures and lawns; and advance the manufacture of glass, ceramics, plastics, pulp and paper, textiles and other products.

Employing approximately 5,000 people throughout the world, the company operates its businesses in three segments: Agricultural Products, Specialty Chemicals and Industrial Chemicals.

Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer

Walter joined FMC Corp. in 1974 and held various management positions in a number of FMC's businesses before being elected executive vice president and member of the company's board of directors in December 2000. He was elected president and chief executive officer of FMC Corp. in August 2001.

W. Kim Foster

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Foster has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of FMC Corp. since 2001. Prior to serving in his current role, Foster held numerous other executive and management positions with FMC, including vice president and general manager - agricultural products group from 1998 to 2001; director, International, Agricultural Products Group from 1996-1998; and general manager, Airport Products and Systems Division, 1991-1996.

Andrea  E.  UtechtAndrea E. Utecht

Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Utecht joined FMC in July 2001 as chief legal officer for the new chemical company. Utecht has more than 25 years of corporate legal experience with ATOFINA Chemicals, Pennwalt and the Colonial Penn Group. Prior to joining FMC she was senior vice president, legal affairs for Total Fina Elf Holdings and general counsel for ATOFINA.
