Founded in 1802, DuPont operates in more than 70 countries. DuPont offers a wide range of products and services for markets including agriculture, nutrition, electronics, communications, safety and protection, home and construction, transportation and apparel.

In 1802, DuPont was primarily an explosives company. It wasn’t until the early 1900s that the company’s focus turned to chemicals, materials and energy. Today, DuPont employs 60,000 workers worldwide and has more than 40 research and development and customer service labs in the United States, and more than 35 labs in 11 other countries.

Ellen J. KullmanEllen J. Kullman

Chief Executive Officer

Kullman is the 19th executive to lead the company in more than 205 years of DuPont History. She became president on Oct. 1, 2008, and CEO on Jan.1, 2009. Prior to her appointment as DuPont president and CEO she served as executive vice president and a member of the company's office of the chief executive. She was responsible for DuPont Coatings & Color Technologies; DuPont Electronic & Communication Technologies; DuPont Performance Materials; DuPont Safety & Protection; Marketing & Sales; Pharmaceuticals; Risk Management; and Safety & Sustainability. In March 2008, Ellen was tapped to lead the dynamic planning process for the company's growth in emerging international markets.

Richard R. GoodmansonRichard R. Goodmanson

Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Goodmanson joined DuPont in May 1999. His responsibilities include leadership of all the operational functions in the company, and of the geographic regions outside of the United States, with a key focus on growth in emerging markets. He also leads a major cross-company transformation productivity program. Prior to joining DuPont, from 1996 to 1999, Goodmanson was president and chief executive officer of America West Airlines, based in Tempe, Ariz.

Jeffrey L. KeeferJeffrey L. Keefer

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Keefer joined DuPont in 1976 as a financial analyst in the titanium dioxide business. After several years of supervising the business' accounting function, he accepted a field sales assignment in 1982. In 1985, he was appointed customer service manager for the unit. In 1987, Keefer was named TiO2 market manager for the paper industry, one of the three major markets served by DuPont Titanium Technologies. He assumed sales management responsibility for that segment in 1989.
