ACC ChemSecure Event
The American Chemistry Council will be hosting its ChemSecure security event in Houston, Texas on June 11-13, 2012.
Through both general and breakout sessions, ChemSecure will cover a variety of topics including the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), cyber security risk assessments, global supply chain security, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) chemical industry outreach.
A number of Department of Homeland Security and FBI representatives will be in attendance to provide firsthand information on chemical security regulatory matters and outreach initiatives.
The event will provide valuable insight for chemical security professionals both at the corporate and facility level. You can view the complete agenda and register for ChemSecure online. Those who register before May 7, 2012 will receive $200 off the registration fee.
Ryan Loughin is Director of Petrochemical & Energy Solutions for the Advanced Integration division of ADT- www.adtbusiness.com/petrochem. He provides security education to CFATS and MTSA-affected companies and is a member of the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA), Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Associates (SOCMA), Energy Security Council (ESC) and American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). Loughin has also completed multiple levels of CVI Authorized User training (Chemical-Terrorism Vulnerability Information) which was authored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
