In today’s economy, people and businesses alike are uber conscious about where they spend their hard-earned money. I’m no exception to that. Nowadays, any purchase I make, whether it be a baby stroller or a high-definition TV, I make sure I get the most “bang for my buck.” I factor in whether the company I purchase from is reputable, I consider the quality and responsiveness of customer service, and I scour the web for product reviews.
Reviews help me determine the product’s quality, whether I’m truly getting a deal for the price, and what to expect if defects occur. Even a simple 4 out of 5 stars based on a hundred similar ratings is enough to tell me a product or company is highly regarded and offers a positive purchasing experience.
Chemical Processing’s Readers’ Choice Awards can give you similar insight into a company’s reputation. Survey participants simply take a few minutes to write in the name of the company they feel is a true technology leader, offering high-value, high-quality services and products in 48 different categories. The results of the survey, published in July, offer up the “best of the best” in the industry.
So if you haven’t already voiced your own opinion, head on over to the survey. It only takes a few minutes to complete and you’ll be doing your peers a favor. Be sure to review the results in the July issue – you may find a new vendor to consider, or your peers may confirm you’ve made the right choice.
