Cue the rimshots. American Chemical Society’s Reactions video packs a bunch of roll-your-eyes type jokes in to a short space. If you’ve got kids, grandkids or nieces and nephews, this is the perfect material to make them giggle – after you explain the science behind why it’s supposed to be funny.

While I appreciate romantic comedies, I’d much prefer action movies with lots of explosions. I think it probably started with the 70s TV show CHiPS. Seems that every other episode Ponch or Jon were in some sort of danger that ended with colossal explosions and near-death experiences.
